About Me

Location: Edmonton, Alberta, Canada

I have been living in Canada since 1991 and though I've had many trivial cameras since I was 10, my first serious digital camera was an HP Photosmart 618 digital camera. The only reason I bought it was to avoid a film camera, but I seldom used it. As many of you may know, the Photosmart was basically a Pentax.

Then I was in the sub-compact camera phase and picked up a Pentax Option S, at the time, was the smallest camera ever made. The image quality was amazing and I loved that little thing until my dad said, "Give me back my camera." It was his bday present that I never gave to him.

Though I had my HP for years, I never again indulged in photography because I hated using my antiquated camera. When I decided to take a big vacation to Malaysia, I felt that it was worth investing in a good camera for the trip. That's when I got my Pentax K10D, the camera I still use today and see no reason to upgrade (not until full-frames become popular).

As my skills improve, you will see me post my pictures on my Flickr account. Eventually, I want to be creative and unique enough to be able to sell my photos, not to make money, but to be proud that my photography is good enough to be bought.
